Lady Gaga's Europese tournee uitgesteld naar volgend jaar

Lady gaga, die al enkele jaren aan de spierziekte fibromyalgie lijdt, ruilt de concertzalen de komende periode in voor het ziektebed.

Hoewel ze deze pijn al enkele jaren verbijt, is het op een niveau gekomen dat de kwaliteit van haar optredens in het gedrang komt. De geplande optredens van haar Joanne World Tour worden daarom een jaar uitgesteld op doktersadvies. Slecht nieuws dus voor haar Belgische aanhang, aangezien het optreden dat normaal plaatsvindt op 1 oktober ook uitgesteld wordt tot volgend jaar.

"Ik hou zoveel van jullie."

Lady Gaga deelde deze boodschap zelf op haar Instagram met de boodschap: "Optreden voor mijn fans is het liefste dat ik doe. Ik kijk er dan ook naar uit om opnieuw te gaan touren, maar op dit moment moet ik bij mijn dokters zijn zodat ik terug kan aansterken om er de komende zestig jaar tegenaan te gaan! Ik hou zoveel van jullie".

Live Nation roept op aan de fans om hun tickets nog niet van de hand te doen. "Hoewel het concert uitgesteld is zullen de originele tickets wel nog geldig zijn op de nieuwe datum".

 

I have always been honest about my physical and mental health struggles. Searching for years to get to the bottom of them. It is complicated and difficult to explain, and we are trying to figure it out. I use the word "suffer" not for pity, or attention, and have been disappointed to see people online suggest that I'm being dramatic, making this up, or playing the victim to get out of touring. If you knew me, you would know this couldn't be further from the truth. I'm a fighter. I use the word suffer not only because trauma and chronic pain have changed my life, but because they are keeping me from living a normal life. They are also keeping me from what I love the most in the world: performing for my fans. I am looking forward to touring again soon, but I have to be with my doctors right now so I can be strong and perform for you all for the next 60 years or more. I love you so much.
